    This video walks you through the steps to construct a freeman style small hive beetle trap for your beehives. The construction is the same for Nuc, 8-Frame and 10-Frame Versions. If you make a 10-frame version then replace all wood with a length of 13 3/4" with wood 16 1/4" long.

    Materials Required for an 8-frame hive:
    32 nails
    Some T-50 Staples
    Waterproof wood glue (recommend tightbond)(Optional)
    1x 3"x13.5"x19" roasting pan
    2x 19 7/8" x 3/4" x 3/4 - pine/cypress
    2x 19 7/8" x 3" x 3/4" - pine/cypress
    1x 13 3/4" x 3/4" x 3/4" - pine/cypress
    2x 13 3/4" x 3" x 3/4" - pine/cypress
    1x 12 1/4" x 3" x 3/4" - pine/cypress
    1x 21 3/8" x 13 3/4" x 9/16" - Plywood
    1x #6 Hardware Cloth 20"x13 3/4"
